From our origins as PNGAA through to PNGIA, the PNG Institute of Accountants, and our 2003 rebranding as Certified Practising Accountants Papua New Guinea, our mission has remained constant: to advance the accounting profession, protect the public interest, and equip PNG's finance leaders with internationally recognised credentials. Entry Requirements

Membership is open to graduates and diploma holders from approved tertiary institutions in PNG. Your entry level is determined by your highest qualification and field of study.

  • Student Member — entry-level option
  • RAT — diploma in accounting or business
  • RAG — degree majoring in accounting
  • CPA (Expatriate) — for non-citizens
